Random photo update! pt 1

Here are some photos of my clay self portrait. When I started it I still had long hair. White clay, bisque fired cone 6 then colored with india ink. Yes its hollow and weighs a lot. Taken in my studio space at school.

I of course must be shown at some point with the obligatory coffee.

Here I tried to get a couple photos with me in it. I took off my glasses since I didn't make any for my self portrait.

odd close up shot.

Mitts I knitted for my friend Debbi for her birthday. ..now I just need to quickly finish that scarf!

Molten silver after casting it into my mold.

The wax model that was used to make that above mold. I will post a photo later of the finished piece.

Our white Christmas tree. The tree its self is pre-lite and was a gift at last years Christmas. I think I did a decent job making the chain.

Hope every one has had good Christmas! More to come later. This is to satiate the masses

I'm impressed w/ how well you captured your eyes in your self-portrait.

And I *love* your tree! When I was a child, we had 2 trees: 1 was 'regular' (fresh pine w/ lots of lights/ornaments of all colors), and 1 was 'fancy', a flocked tree all done up in pink & blue ornaments my mom made. Yours brings back memories.

Happy New Year!
